The much awaited match by football fans in Yanga against Azam FC, scheduled for Wednesday October 25, will now be played on October 22, after the League Board (TPLB) changed the matches of the sixth round of the Premier League.

The teams are chasing each other in the standings, Azam being the second, while Yanga is following behind after each of them has played five matches and in recent days they have had strong opposition and this season they have met in the Community Shield and Yanga won 2-0, while for the season Yanga won the second leg 3-2 while the previous one ended 2-2.

Records show that Azam last beat Yanga on April 25, 2021 with Prince Dube’s goal and in the following five matches they have drawn only one and lost four, including the Community Shield on August 9, in Tanga, so the first league match for this season will be of revenge.
